Help Support Your Favorite Species! You can help return orphaned and injured animals to the wild through Sierra Wildlife Rescue's Adoption Program. By adopting a favorite species, you support their rehabilitation, while qualified rehabbers take care of the midnight feedings, medications and cleaning. Your financial support is a critical part in fulfilling SWR's mission of preserving wildlife in El Dorado County. We've now made adoptions even more affordable with a $25 adoption fee. You will receive a beautiful photo Certificate of Adoption with a picture of your selected species, information on its natural history, an SWR magnet, and a helpful chart of what to do in a wildlife emergency.
